"There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in" - Leonard Cohen
Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. Healing from difficult experiences can feel overwhelming, and you do not have to navigate it alone. Many of the people I work with are carrying more than they show, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, disconnected from themselves, hard on themselves or unsure how to create the relationships that they want.
I have a special interest in working with individuals impacted by childhood trauma, medical trauma, and painful relational experiences, as well as those who feel misunderstood in their emotional world, struggle with regulating intense emotions, or find themselves questioning why certain reactions, relationships, or patterns keep repeating. I also support individuals navigating sexual concerns, including compulsive sexual behaviors or porn addiction. In addition, I enjoy working with couples who are experiencing communication difficulties, intimacy challenges, or recurring cycles of disconnection and want to better understand what is happening beneath the surface of those patterns.
Â
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, with specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, PACT, and concepts from Internal Family Systems. I integrate these approaches to understand how stress, memory, and emotion live in the body, and how different parts of you may shape the way you protect yourself, connect with others, and respond under pressure.
Â
My style is direct, gentle and honest. I believe therapy should feel safe enough for truth, but also active enough to create change. I tend to work well with people who are looking for a longer term space to explore themselves in therapy, with room for honest reflection, compassionate challenge, and deeper understanding over time.
Â
I want therapy to be a space where you can bring your whole self, all parts of you, including the ones that feel ashamed, conflicted, guarded, intense, uncertain, or difficult to explain and be met with care, respect, and curiosity.
Â
This work unfolds collaboratively and at a pace that honors both your capacity and your story. If accountability is part of what helps you move forward, ask me about my packaged options for more structured support.
Â
If this resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and explore whether we are a good fit, in person or online.
